Yearly registration fees start at USD 6.95 per year. The minimum registration period is two years, but you can register up to nine years to be sure the chosen Dot TK domain name is yours for that period of time!
By paying for your Dot TK domain name you or your company owns the selected Dot TK domain name and it will give you full rights to sell, license or resell this domain name.
To make your domain name work on the Internet, you can choose out of the following three options:
1. You run your own DNS, a Domain Name Server. This is the most common used system for domains on the Internet.
Note that you do not need to register your domain name with your Domain Name Server before registering your Dot TK domain name.
2. If you are unable to run your own Domain Name Servers, you can also have Dot TK run your Domain Name Servers for you. With this service, available for only USD 35.00 per year, you can park your domain name without the need for a webserver or DNS. With this service, Dot TK allows you to update your host information any time. Changes are effective within five minutes.

3. If you don't want to run a DNS, and you don't want to use any mail- or host-services within your own Dot TK domain name, you might want to use the URL forwarding service. Note that the URL forwarding service only enables
WWW.ALANDCARCLUB.TK for web browsing.
In order to register your Dot TK domain name, you need your address information and payment information, such a Credit Card (VISA/MasterCard) or checking account bank information. Registrants from the United States can also pay by money order or by check.
Note: all your personal information, including your credit card information, will be SSL encrypted during the registration process.
If you want to run your own DNS Servers, you need:
* A primary Domain Name Server (with IP address)
* A secondary Domain Name Server (with IP address)
If you want to enable URL forwarding, you need to have an existing website URL.

Det kostar alltså minst 19.90$ (för två år, vilket är minimum) plus eventuella transaktionskostnader. Billigare och bättre är då att regga en riktig domän.
