Firmware 4.1 rättar upp buggen som orsakar att radion hänger sig när man aktiverar Governor utan att ha en kanal kopplad till den.

There is a fault on the governor selection in the governor menu. When you switch Governor from INH to ACT the set hangs (crashes the set) if Governor is not assigned to a channel in the FUNCTION menu.

Futaba gör T8FG/T8FGS radion ännu bättre.

Med Wi-Fi till min android telefon så nu börjar det ta sig

The Wi-Fi Rx-Box sports a similar technology as the Telemetry-Box but no display as it sends the gathered information to a smart phone. The box is powered by the transmitter’s trainer plug and is ideal to equip any FASST radio with telemetry technology. The needed App for iOS and Android phones is currently in development.

Sådär nu har man uppgraderat till ny firmware.
I displayen står det nu version 5.0 i min radio.

Om du kikar ner så ska du få se på en riktig display

Man började med bara 8 kanaler i radion, nu ändrar man bara i menyn “MLT2” så har man 12+2 kanaler.
Känner fortfarande inget behov av att byta radio utan är klart nöjd med min Futaba

Compatible with 14ch (12 linear CH/2 digitalCH).(All model types)
When “MLT2” is selected at FASST setting of the frequency setting screen, the 12 linear CH output mode is activated.

In the MLT2 mode, 9-12CH setting is now possible on the function/sub-trim/servo reverse/fail safe/end point/trainer screens.
*Virtual channels cannot be used in the MLT2 mode.
*When you want to use 12CH in the trainer system.
Set the frequency setting to "MLT2" and the trainer-12/8CH-setting to "12CH".
The trainer system doesn't work if this setting is not suitable for the instructor side and student side.
*When 12/8CH of the trainer setting is "8CH", the trainer output becomes 8ch. Even if the frequency setting is "MLT2".
At “MLT2” setting, 2AIL+4FLP and 4AIL+2FLP can be selected at wing type. (Airplane/Glider)
*When wing type is set to 2AIL+4FLP or 4AIL+2FLP for an airplane (all tail types) or glider (ailevator type), the frequency cannot be changed to frequencies other than MLT2 because the number of channels is insufficient

För att se filerna på sd-kortet i din pc behövs ett särskilt program som kan laddas ner från Futabas hemsida.
Man kan också kopiera och spara filerna till datorn med detta program.

Sålde min T8FG och det senaste SD-kortet jag hade i radion var SanDisk ultra 2 på 1GB
Flyttade över kortet till min nya radio Futaba 14SG med alla flygmodeller på kortet och kopierade det rakt av utan problem.

Började på V1.1 och slutade på V5.0

Gissar att det inte kommer så många uppgraderingar till 8FG mera nu när dom släppt nya 14SG.
Resan från den vanliga 8FG till 8FG super var klart värd och radion är fortfarande en bra radio men ......
Time to move on.
